GED Chief Examiner, Polk County School Board

“I am responsible for scheduling and administering the GED in Polk County. One of my goals is to establish additional test sites in the county along with monthly Saturday testings. There should be as few roadblocks as possible for people wanting to take the GED.”

Professional Tidbits
Worked for the FL Dept. of Health and Human Services for 13 years as a social worker, Child Support Enforcement Investigator and Day Care Licensing worker, eight years as Guidance Director at a Catholic high school. Taught high school at a drug rehabilitation center and as a hospital homebound teacher. Developed guidance program and worked as guidance counselor at the Polk Community College Collegiate Charter High School for five years.

Was Associate Director of Admissions at Florida Southern College for two years. Member ACE of Florida and School Advisory Council for West Area Adult School, Lakeland. Current certification in teaching History 7-12 and Guidance/Counseling Pre-K through 12.
